Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve
The Chilkat Eagle Preserve, along the Chilkat River outside Haines, Alaska, is world famous for the incredible bald eagle gathering. The eagle counts have been as high as 3000, as they congregate to feed on the chum salmon.
Our focus will be to capture stunning images of eagles as they soar high above, dive down from the sky to catch fish, and fight other eagles over their catch. It seems many eagles are more interested in fighting over fish, than catching one of their own. Join us for this one of a kind photographic adventure!
These tours are not limited to photographers. Anyone interested in seeing eagle up close are welcome to join the tour at the same rate as photographers. If you are accompanying a photographer, you pay only the $800 accompany fee.
